Back Bay Guitar Trio
Back Bay Guitar Trio formed in 2002 and has performed at Dartmouth College, Longy School of Music, Berklee College of Music, St. Anselm College, University of New Hampshire, The House of Blues and at the world renowned Boston Hatch Shell. The BBGT have also been featured artists in concert series for the Boston Classical Guitar Society, the New York City Classical Guitar Society, and opened up for guitarist Al Dimeola at the Lebanon (NH) Opera House. The Back Bay Guitar Trio toured Germany in the summer of 2009 and appeared as featured artists at the Hildener Meisterkurs in Hilden and a concert sponsored by the U.S. Consulate at the Nebbiensches Gartenhaus in Frankfurt. Guitarist Aaron Larget-Caplan returns to Arlington to perform his solo program 'Looking Bach, Listening Forward' at the Reading Room of the Robbins Library in Arlington Center. The 60-70-minute program will feature standards and new works written and arranged for guitar. Featuring music by J.S. Bach from Aaron’s latest album God’s Time, Larget-Caplan’s own compositions from his 1-million streamed album honey cadence, music by John Cage, a solo by Arlington’s own Alan Hovhaness, and a couple of Spanish pieces from Aaron’s forthcoming album due in April.

He is currently on the faculty of The Longy School of Music in Cambridge, MA, and is the chair of the Guitar and Harp program at The Hartt School of Music in West Hartford, CT.

A former faculty member of The Hartt School and the University of Connecticut. Founder of Concert In Your Living Room, providing fund-raising assistance to non-profit organizations.
